What Agriva does

Your season, contracted before the harvest.

Agriva turns a wholesale buyer’s season program into signed grower contracts: cases by the week, every grower checked against available volume, certificates and delivery history.

For US wholesale buyers of fresh produce and the growers and exporters outside the US who supply them.

Modules

From the season program to signed grower contracts.

Three modules follow one order: the buyer enters the program, growers answer from their fields, and each admitted share becomes a contract.

Module 01

Programs

Buyer
Enter the season once: cases per week, delivery weeks, grade, packaging and your DC. Every week shows whether a contract covers it.
Grower
See US demand for your crop before the season, in cases and weeks, with a price per case.
  • One form for the whole season

Crop, USDA grade, cases per week, first and last delivery week, packaging, delivery point, DC, tolerance and required certificates go in one form.

  • Orders in cases and weeks

The program uses the buyer’s units: an 8.2 kg case, 100 cases per pallet, 20 pallets per container, delivery weeks.

  • Every week, covered or open

A week-by-week grid shows the plan and the cases signed contracts cover.

  • See what is still open

Signed, offered and open cases are counted for the whole order.

  • All terms on one card

Grade, volume, weeks, tolerance, packaging, destination and certifications stay with the order.

  • See where the program stands

A status line shows the step the order has reached, from demand received to covered.

Grower Sourcing

Buyer
Every grower response is checked against available volume, certificates and delivery history before a contract is offered.
Grower
US orders come to you. Answer from a specific field and see right away what share you are admitted for.
  • Checked against available volume

Each response is tied to a field, and the check compares the cases requested with what that field still has available.

  • Certificates checked before the contract

A certificate the buyer requires, such as GlobalG.A.P., is checked before a contract is offered.

  • Admitted for the share they can supply

A grower is admitted for the part of the week they can supply: 600 of 2,000 cases.

  • One order, several growers

The weekly volume is split across growers, each with its own share and contract.

  • New grower, human check

A response from a grower without delivery history goes to the Agriva team for a decision, and the card shows who decided.

Demo screen · buyer view

Grower responses: Grower A qualified for part, 600 of 2,000 cases a week, field Campo A; Grower B not qualified, not enough available volume, 2,000 requested and 400 available; Grower C qualified for part, admitted by Agriva for 1,400 cases a week, field Campo C.

Demo screen · grower view, phone

Module 03

Pre-Season Contracts

Buyer
See the signed contract behind each case of the season, by grower and by week.
Grower
Your buyer, price per case and weekly volume are written into a signed contract before harvest, and your field is booked for those weeks.
  • A contract for every share

Each admitted grower signs its own contract for its share: 600 cases a week on one, 1,400 on the other.

  • Volume set week by week

The contract lists the cases for every delivery week, W36 to W45.

  • Price per case in the contract

The contract carries the price per case. The grower’s price is the buyer’s price less Agriva’s commission.

  • Signed when the grower accepts

An offer becomes a contract when the grower accepts it. The buyer sees offered and signed volume apart.

  • Field booked for these weeks

Signed volume comes off the field’s available volume for those weeks.

Questions

Questions and answers.

Who pays for Agriva?

The seller. Agriva earns a commission on each delivered shipment, and it comes out of the seller’s payout. The buyer pays the price per case in the program.

How is a grower checked?

Each response is tied to a field and checked against three things: available volume on that field for your weeks, the certificates your program requires and the grower’s delivery history. A grower without delivery history is reviewed by the Agriva team.

Can one program be split across several growers?

Yes. Each grower is admitted for the share they can supply and signs a contract for it. In the demo order, 2,000 cases a week are split 600 and 1,400 between two growers.

When is the contract signed?

Before the season. In the demo order, both contracts were signed on June 1 for deliveries from August 31. Each lists the cases by week, the price per case and the field.

What will I see in the demo?

One table grape season program, from the buyer’s order to signed grower contracts, from the buyer’s side and the grower’s side. Names and numbers in the demo are illustrative.
